What we do with your information.

What we collect

Only what a written estimate needs.

When you fill in the estimate form, you give us your name and phone number, your email if you choose to, where you are moving from and to, the size of the job, a preferred date if you have one, and anything you type in the notes box.

When you call, we write down what you tell us. That is the whole of it. We do not ask for a date of birth, a licence number, or a payment method to give you an estimate — and you should be wary of any mover who does.

Who else touches it

The complete list, not a sample.

Your estimate request travels through FormSubmit, the service that delivers the form to us, and lands in a Google inbox we read. Those two handle your details in the ordinary course of getting your message to a person.

Four others see technical information rather than your enquiry: Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and counts page views through its own cookie-free analytics, Google Fonts serves the typeface (which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads), Ahrefs Web Analytics counts page views, and Google Analytics tells us which pages get read and which adverts and searches actually bring people here.

Google Analytics is the one thing on this site that sets a cookie. It is a first-party cookie named _ga, it holds a random number and nothing about who you are, and it exists so that you are counted as one returning person rather than three strangers. We added it in September 2026 because we could not otherwise tell which of our efforts were bringing anyone here at all. If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes an opt-out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and any browser's tracking protection or private window will also do it. Nothing about the site stops working either way.

That is everyone. If that list ever grows, this page changes on the same day.

How long we keep it

As long as the job and the law require.

Paperwork attached to an actual move — written estimates, bills of lading, claims correspondence — is kept for as long as Washington requires a licensed household goods carrier to keep it. That record is what the Utilities and Transportation Commission reviews, and it protects you as much as it does us.

Enquiries that never become a job are a different matter. We keep those only while they are useful, and delete them after that.

The rest

Two short notes.

Children. This site is meant for people arranging a move. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes. If what we do with your information changes, we update this page and change the date at the top. We do not quietly revise it and hope nobody notices.
