What we do with your information.

Only what a written estimate needs.

When you fill in the estimate form, you give us your name and phone number, your email if you choose to, where you are moving from and to, the size of the job, a preferred date if you have one, and anything you type in the notes box.

When you call, we write down what you tell us. That is the whole of it. We do not ask for a date of birth, a licence number, or a payment method to give you an estimate — and you should be wary of any mover who does.

The complete list, not a sample.

Your estimate request travels through FormSubmit, the service that delivers the form to us, and lands in a Google inbox we read. Those two handle your details in the ordinary course of getting your message to a person.

Three others see technical information rather than your enquiry: Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and counts page views through its own cookie-free analytics, Google Fonts serves the typeface (which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads), and Ahrefs Web Analytics counts page views.

That is everyone. If that list ever grows, this page changes on the same day.

As long as the job and the law require.

Paperwork attached to an actual move — written estimates, bills of lading, claims correspondence — is kept for as long as Washington requires a licensed household goods carrier to keep it. That record is what the Utilities and Transportation Commission reviews, and it protects you as much as it does us.

Enquiries that never become a job are a different matter. We keep those only while they are useful, and delete them after that.

Two short notes.

Children. This site is meant for people arranging a move. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes. If what we do with your information changes, we update this page and change the date at the top. We do not quietly revise it and hope nobody notices.
