Longer moves are priced by weight and distance, and out of state we run under our own federal authority. Here's where we work and how each kind of move is priced.

This single number decides how your move is priced in Washington, so it's worth knowing which side of it you're on before you call anyone.
Within 55 miles: hourly
Priced by the hour under Tariff 15-C, inside the minimum and maximum the Commission sets. The distance is measured from pickup to delivery, so a move across Tacoma is priced the same way as a move across Olympia.
Beyond 55 miles: weight and distance
Priced on what your shipment weighs and how far it goes, not on the clock. Longer moves inside Washington sit here. Crossing a state line moves you onto federal rules instead.

Thurston County
We're based in Rochester, so this is the area we can usually get to fastest. Moves within the county are well under 55 miles, so hourly local rates apply.
Regular runs
Tacoma, Pierce County & Lewis County
Still routine work for us. Moves within these towns, and between them and Thurston County, are usually 55 miles or less, depending on the exact addresses.
Anywhere in the state
Seattle, King County, statewide & interstate
Longer Washington moves are priced by weight and distance. Out-of-state moves run under our federal operating authority, MC 1781177. We are the carrier, so your shipment stays on our truck with our crew from pickup to delivery instead of being sold on by a broker to whoever takes the job.

If your town isn't listed, it probably still works. Rochester sits just off I-5, which is most of why we can reach so much of the state in a day. Call and ask.
