The terms, in plain English.

Short version: this site is here so you can learn what we do and ask for a written estimate. Asking costs nothing and commits you to nothing. A move itself is governed by the written estimate and the bill of lading you sign, not by this page.

Using this site

What you are agreeing to when you use it.

This website belongs to Caravan Moving LLC, a household goods carrier based in Rochester, Washington. By reading it, calling the number on it, or sending a form, you agree to the terms on this page and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, the site still works as a brochure, but please do not send us a request.

Use the site for its purpose: learning about our services and getting in touch about a move. Do not copy the photos or text for another business, send automated requests, or try to interfere with how the site runs.

The photos of the truck are our own. The written content is ours too. You are welcome to link to any page.

What a request is, and isn't

  • Sending the form or calling asks us for an estimate. It does not book a move, and it does not reserve a date
  • A move is booked only when you accept a written estimate and we confirm the date with you
  • You can withdraw a request at any time by telling us, with no charge and no questions
Estimates and moves

The paperwork governs, not the website.

Everything on this site is general information. It describes what we usually do and how a Washington move usually runs. It is not an offer to move you at a particular price, and nothing here is a quote. We give every customer a written estimate before any work, based on what you tell us and, for larger moves, on a survey. If the job turns out different from what was described, the estimate can change, and we tell you before we start.

Intrastate household goods moves are performed under our Washington UTC permit and Tariff 15-C, and interstate moves under our federal operating authority. The terms of a move, including what is covered if something is damaged and how a claim works, are set out in the written estimate, the bill of lading and the consumer information the state requires us to give you. Where this page and those documents differ, those documents win.

Our damage-claims process is published on the About page. The state's Consumer Guide to Moving explains your rights as a Washington customer, and we deliver it with every estimate.

Things we do not promise on this site

  • A price. Prices come only in a written estimate
  • A date. Dates are confirmed with you, in writing, when you book
  • That the general descriptions here fit every job. Your estimate does
Calls and text messages

We reply the way you contacted us.

If you call, we call back. If you send a form and tick the text-message box, you are agreeing that we may text you about your request from (360) 339-3129: to confirm we got it, to ask a question about the move, to send or discuss your estimate, and to coordinate moving day. Those are the only texts we send. We do not send marketing texts, and ticking the box is never a condition of getting an estimate.

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your plan. How many texts you get depends on your move; most people get a handful. Reply STOP to any text and we stop. Reply HELP, or just call us, and a person will help. Your consent is kept with your request, as the privacy policy describes.

Links to other sites

  • We link to the Washington UTC, FMCSA, Google and a separate carpet-cleaning company. Those sites have their own terms and we do not control them
  • King Carpet Cleaning is a separate legal entity. Each company contracts and invoices on its own
The rest

Three short notes.

The site itself. We keep it accurate and we fix mistakes when we find them, but it is provided as it is. We are not responsible for a loss that comes from relying on the general information here instead of your written estimate, or from the site being unavailable for a while.

Washington law. These terms, and anything that comes from using this site, are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.

Changes. If these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top. The terms that apply to you are the ones published when you sent your request.
